How to make a website with Windows 10 for free with inbuilt website maker

How to use Windows inbuilt website maker for free | Make your own website without code in Windows 10 for free!











Requirements - 

  • Windows 7,8,8.1,10 or 11
  • THAT'S IT!

Settings to be enabled - 

Search your windows computer for - 
"Turn windows features on or off"




Click on it







Click the boxes which say - "Internet information services" and "Internet Information Services Hostable Web core"



Click the two checkboxes shown.






Then click "ok"

After it saves the changes close the window.

Steps - 

After doing the steps in part 1,  search for "IIS"



Click on it










Click on "sites" on top left




Click on it







Click on "Add website" on the top right




Click on it







Give it any name you want without dots (.)


Click on the three dots next to physical path box.











Click on any folder that has images/videos/html files audio etc: -





Select any folder with the items you need to display in the website.







After selecting the folder and pressing "ok" press "ok" again without changing anything.





Press "ok"










Click on the first folder in the top left which has your computer's username and then got to "directory browsing"




Double Click on directory browsing after clicking your username folder on the top left.




In directory browsing, go to the top right and click on enable.




Click enable inside directory browsing.







Go back to the sites folder on the top left side and then right click the default website and remove/delete/stop it.

Then click on your website that you made and click start on the right side of the screen.



















Now open your web browser and on the top url bar type - http://localhost:80 and now your website is finally done!
